[/i] of the time. in a sense, Sasuke has a superiority complex -- he thinks he is better than others, and has an exaggerated view of his own self-importance. coupled with this comes an inferiority complex, as he is unwilling to acknowledge when someone is stronger than he is, and yet obsesses when he believes someone is.

he displays an indifferent attitude towards most people that he meets, unwilling to get close to them, or even attempt to get close to them. when he has a goal set in mind, he has it set in mind. he'll do whatever he feels is necessary to accomplish it, even if that means at a risk for his comrades. the goal, the mission, whatever it is, takes precedence above all else, whatever the cost may be.

despite all of this, despite his cold and rude outward appearance, he does have one "soft spot" -- if you can even call it that. it is for his brother, Itachi, the man he respects more than any other. also, despite being popular with females due to being "handsome" and "cool", Sasuke has shown absolutely no interest in any of these women, or their advances. a lot of that has to do with his annoyance with their obsessiveness. his disinterest in these women can turn to ruthless and uncaring antipathy, however.[/ul]
