[/b]. He’s not one to run around and do sports and lots of chores for everyone, which makes him seem a bit egotistical, but he’s just a little too lazy to do stuff for people. He’s lucky he does things for himself, and he sees life as something to sit and watch go by while he enjoys it. He sees no reason to run around and panic about everything, he takes things at a leisurely pace and gets things done when he wants. He’s not an egoist by any means, he enjoys doing things to please others also, but not really unless he just feels like it. He doesn’t seem to have any other motive to do things apart from to make sure it helps him relax more, and no one’s really surprised either. He’s not the brightest bulb in the box, and no amount of reading books has helped change that. Jakobe doesn’t mind though, he can accept this and move on with his simple life and be happy. He believes he’s smart enough to get where he wants, and because he’s already there, then hey! No need to try any harder.

He is by no means bitter. If anything, Jakobe can be very forgiving when he wants to be, and prefers to be friendly with anyone he comes across. A pacifist through and through, he despises fighting and doesn’t enjoy harming other people. Jakobe doesn’t go as far as stopping other people from fighting though, he just tends to ignore it. He believes that, if he has a persisting problem, he can ignore it and it will eventually go away. He’s not the confrontational type, and that’s where things start to go down hill for him. Jakobe really doesn’t like facing problems head on, and doesn’t enjoy fixing them either, so he tends to divert around them and then pay for it when they pop back up again in the future. Things like paying rent at the last minute, running out of food, etc are a regular thing for him, and although this makes him appear forgetful, he’s really just trying to avoid it and look at the more happier things in life.

Jakobe is a generally cheery person, although he tends to hide behind a smile so he doesn’t bother others. Having grown up with quite strict parents that didn’t have much time for him, he just naturally assumes no one wants to hear his problems, and so keeps them to himself. If someone asks, then they may need to persist somewhat if they really want to hear it, but generally Jakobe doesn’t go to people for advise by choice. Want to make Jakobe happy? Well lucky you, as Jakobe is a very simple guy, and little things can really make his day. He’s easily pleased and amused, and so even a small gift like an apple or new strings for his ukulele will make him very grateful. You should also be prepared for a gift in return though, or else Jakobe would feel quite bad otherwise. It doesn’t nag at him, but he always feel gifts should be returned; it’s only polite.
