Victor von Doom, aka Dr. Doom, had returned to his home country of Latveria and deposed the royal famaily, sending them into exile, before assuming control over the country himself. He then quickly replaced the entire military with robotic versions of himself, whose powers were said to equaled to those of Ironman's Mach 3 armor, though this has yet to be proven. He then set out a challenge to the Fantastic Four, inviting them to Latveria to fight him for control over the small country, a challenge that was quickly accepted. With the aid of several other super villains whom Doom promised sanctuary, he defeated the heroes and captured them. S.H.I.E.L.D., was quickly given the order to take him down, and realizing the threat that Doom possed, Director Nick Fury contacted the X-Men, as well as several other teams around the world, asking for their help against Doom and his Masters of Evil. Fearing that they too could be wipedout, they all quickly agreeded to aid the Avengers in the mission, on one condition. It was demanded that both Wakanda and Atlantis aid in the mission aswell, and the Avengers quickly setout to ask the two countries for their aid. Because of his one-time friendship with Namor, Captain America was sent to Atlantis, while the team's newest members Antman and the Wasp, were sent to Wakanda. While T'Challa agreed to aid the Avengers, Namor refused, saying he would not get involved with the affaires of "surface dwelers". With the battle lines now drawn, and the teams ready, the only thing left is to ask, where do you stand?

Marvel Movieverse takes place right after the upcoming Avengers Movie and is open to players of all skill levles, from beginner to advanced. We accept both canon and orrigional characters, and promise to make no demands or try and force players to take certain characters they don't want to.
