[/sub]LEVEL KAGEThis level is the top level of the shinobi. This level is only given to the top shinobi of each kingdom and normally only the kage's and the legendary sanin are given this rank.
LEVEL SThis level is given to only the best of the best. Shinobi that have proven themselves to be only a rank below the Kage's and Sanin. This level is like being an Anbu captain. Canons like Itachi and Kakashi are this rank.
LEVEL AThis level is given to all Shinobi who have tailed beasts within them, no matter where they come from. This rank is also given to those that have proven themselves worthy to complete missions on their own. This level is like being an Anbu member. Canons like Naruto and Gaara are this rank.
LEVEL BThis level is given to all Shinobi who have exceptional abilities. These shinobi are given positions of power over small groups of younger Shinobi. These shinobi normally complete missions in groups. This level is like being a Jounin. Canons like Asuma and Kurenai are this rank.
LEVEL CThis level is given to all Shinobi who have completed various missions and have showed signs of overall progress. Normally shinobi of this level teach younger shinobi the ways of the ninja. This level is like being a Chunin. Canons like Iruka are this rank.
LEVEL DThis level is given to all Shinobi who have just come out of the Academy. They are normally given small tasks around their kingdoms and normally do not see battle. They are assigned to higher level shinobi for further teaching. This level is like being a Genin. Canons like Hanabi are this rank.
LEVEL EThis level is given to all Shinobi in training. These shinobi are still at their academy training to become excellent ninja in whatever way they can. This level is like being an Academy Student. Canons like Konahamaru are this rank.
