It had been a long while since Hotari had visited the place. It wasn't often that she left her own Kingdom, perferring to be surrounded by things she'd known all her life rather than new things. Currently, she had taken her own little miniature vacation, needing a weekend to relax from all the stress she was under. It wasn't easy being the host for a Biju. Hell. It was the hardest thing anybody could ever endure, or so that's what she thought. In her own view, she knew her life was much worse than any other human's. She may be a little biased but hey, when you're a walking demon that got looked down on wouldn't you be too? Growing up, she had been hated and shunned from the normal life, having few friends and no allies. The few people that accepted her was her mother and her sister. Her father had rejected his own daughter and comitted suicide, wanting death rather than a monster for a daughter. Of course, this brought Hotari's view on life down, but she managed to look passed her father's death and live her life. It was hard, but Hotari grew up to be somewhat respected and a little happy. She didn't talk much to others unless forced to or she already knew them, but that was how she had been taught by her mother. Her personality had stayed the same since she was eleven, quiet and distant. Hotari didn't like to be around other people much, so she stuck to walking behind crowds or hiding in trees while watching others. Of course she was always curious as to how other shinobi lived, and that lead her to come to the Southern kingdom, to see how the normal people in the South lived. Call her weird, but she was just studying the other people to get an idea as to how she should act. Plus, she had heard the hot springs and food in the South were amazing, another reason she came to visit on her vacation. One specific restaurant she had heard about was Ichiraku's Noodle Shop. Many rumors had said that it was the best Ramen making place throughout the kingdoms. Wanting to find out herself, Hotari made her way to the shop, trying her best not to look lost. Glancing around quite nervously, she looked at all the names of the shops, trying to remember where the map had told her to go. Stopping in the middle of the road, Hotari looked at all the different paths to take. Picking a random one, she started walking down it at a fast pace, wanting to just hurry up and eat. It was already noon and she had decided to skip breakfast that morning for no apparent reason. She glanced around again as her stomach growled out loudly. Making a left turn, she sighed in relief when she spotted Ichiraku's sign. What luck. Slowing her pace, she walked into the shop, pushing the small door curatins aside so they wouldn't hit her in the face. Smiling at the man behind the counter, she took a seat on one of the bar stools. "What can I get you?" |
