PERSONALITY:
Distant - Preferring to keep to herself, hotari tries her best to avoid all contact with other shinobi, unless they are her team-mates or friends. With them, she is more open and willing to interact. When forced into a situation where she must work with, talk to, help another shinobi she does not know fairly well, she stays silent and avoids all contact. Of course, she'll speak when spoken too, but her replies will be short and blunt. She'd much rather be off on her alone then be with a group of people. She likes the feeling of peace and calmness. She thinks she won't get that feeling if she's on a team.
Cooperative - In most cases, she is more than willing to cooperate and compromise with somebody. Depending on the situation, she'll be the most coperative person you'll meet. Rather than argue and such, tari likes to talk calmly and make a deal or a way to work around the problems. She isn't one to argue her case, rather agree with somebody just to shut them up. On rare occasions, tari will tell you straight out that she doesn't like your plan and that she believes hers is better. Its rare, but when she believes her plan will work she sticks with it. That's about the only time she is not cooperative.
Determind - Though she doesn't look or act it, tari is very determined in her own way. No matter what the problem or situation is, she won't stop until she finishes it, completes it, or makes it better. Whatever the case, she won't stop trying until she sees everything is complete. If it results in her death, so be it. As long as the mission is accomplished, nothing else matters. She isn't just determined in missions and rough scenarios. Everywhere and anywhere, hotari is determined to succeed.
Friendly - Even though she may not seem like it, she is actually a very friendly person. It just takes a little bit to reach the friendliness. Once somebody has gotten close enough to her, tari will come out of her shell and be a tad bit more friendly to the person. Its not like she isn't usually kind and nice, its just that her friendliness is limited towards strangers. When it comes to small children or elders, tari shows a complete different side, even if she doesn't know the young slash old person. Around ones she trusts and cares for, she's a very kind woman who seeks to aid them however possible.
Negative/Positive - True to what her normal facial expression is, she is very negative about things. She tends to see the bad side rather than the good side. She sees the cup as half empty, not half full. She often comments on how something is going to go wrong or how dreadful something is. However, that's only half the time. The other half of the time, she's actually quite positive, which is odd. When she isn't in a negative mood, she sees things on the good side. As the cup half full. When in a positive mood, she believes everything will work out if you try hard enough. In some kind of way, she is slightly bi-polar with out the anger. If that makes sense.
Serious - What a shocker. hotari is kind of a downer to anybody who likes to crack jokes and have fun. Though she'd hate to admit it, but she does like to have a good laugh here and there and to occasionally pull a prank, but those moments are becoming rarer and rarer. She hardly ever laughs at a joke these days, usually just staring at the one who told the joke and waiting until they turned serious before speaking or acting. She's just not the funny person.
Sensitive - Depending on the situation, Hotari can be very sensitive, even crying at the smallest things. At times, she'll try to hid how sensitive she is by hiding her face or staring off into space. She doesn't like people seeing her weakness and such. She's known to cry when it comes to stuff like her family or her close comrades.
Impatient - Unlike her facial expression, she is very impatient. She becomes impatient in only a few minutes, known for getting irritated and glaring at the nearest person. Though it's kind of immature of her, she doesn't care. She hates having to wait and making others wait. She thinks its rude.
Quick-Temper - Though its not often that this happens, Tari occasionally loses her temper fairly easy. One comment could spark her anger and she'll go off on you. Now she won't actually yell at you, more like tell you off in a calm voice which sometimes make the situation worse. As easy as she gets irritated, she calms down. Its almost as if she's bi-polar.
