[/b] and professional air about him. When things bug him, he tries not to let it show, as he thinks of this as a weakness. When he does open up, it is usually to his sister, or to those he is trying to manipulate. He comes across as withdrawn and uncaring, particularly when facing his victims that he is chosen to assassinate. He rarely becomes close to anyone, as this has proven problematic for him in the past.

He isn't above betraying others for a greater cause or to the highest bidder. One thing he won't betray is Agnosia, however. He is loyal to them to the end, no matter what it entails. The same goes to his younger sister, who he will protect with his own life -- something very rare and hard to see when looking at the man. He finds himself closer to her than he has to anyone else.

Despite all of this, he also hates his parents. On the one hand, he feels his birth mother abandoned him, and on the other, he hates his adopted mother and birth father, finding them as cruel people who he wouldn't hesitate to kill if he had the chance, given the fact that he feels they feel the same; they sold him when he was younger. This led to his complete distrust of the human race and made it harder for him to come to trust anyone.

He sees no point in love, and even though he does get attracted to others, he never acts on those feelings.[/ul]

JUTSU:

Chakra Suppression Technique

~ This ability allows the user to suppress their chakra to the point that it is completely undetectable. This makes it impossible for sensor-type shinobi to track them via chakra. The downside of this ability is that since the user suppresses their chakra they are unable to use any of their ninja skills. Artemis uses it when he wishes to be stealthy.

Chakura Kyūin Jutsu (Chakra Absorption Technique)

~ A jutsu that allows the user to absorb an opponent's chakra. Most ninja require a medium to absorb chakra through. Artemis' medium is his dagger Sen'yaku, designed to do just such.

Suiton: Mizukei (Water Release: Water Whip)

~ A technique where Artemis makes a large spinning ball of water above his head. Multiple whips are created within the ball that can be controlled. While using it, however, he is unable to move. Created by Artemis.

Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique)

~ This displacement technique causes a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water, then the user can go in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dojutsu.

Katon: Fearifaia (Fire Release: Fairy Fire)

~ This technique causes an object to glow as if it were burning like a candle, although there is no physical heat. It's good for keeping track of where someone is at, or for scare-tactics. The color of the fire varies depending on the user, his however, is a deep purple-red. Created by Artemis.

Katon: Kibakuso (Fire Release: Exploding Altar of Sacrifice)

~ When used a small "globe" of flames surround a target. Artemis can then proceed to make it "explode" much like an explosive tag. Anyone or anything caught within is burned. As it's just fire, anyone crazy enough can escape just by running out of it, though that also means they'll still be burned. Created by Artemis.

WEAPONS:

Sen'yaku - ( Elixir {of life})

~ A small, jeweled dagger that rests within easy reach, it's designed in a way that will let him focus his chakra and perform Chakura Kyūin Jutsu. Besides it obvious use for being a quick and easily hidden weapon, Artemis usually only uses it to weaken his enemies.

Akurei - (Evil Spirit)

~ Because of Artemis' grace -- as all assassin's should be quick and easy-flowing --, Akurei was given its name. Those who witness him using it, such as his victims, say that an evil spirit resides within it, and that that's the source of its power. In all reality, this embellished sword is nothing but a normal sword.
