Shun sat alone in his office, at his desk, he was busily working away at a sheet of paperwork. With a swipe of his hand he had finished filling out the last in a large stack of papers. Shun stood up and stretched his arms, with that ever-present smile on his face. It was late afternoon and the sun was low in the sky, shining through the window behind him.
Todays work had been done and now was the time to go off, eat, and relax. Shun put on his sandals and started out the door, where he stopped. The Kage returned to his desk and pulled open one of the drawers, removing two bells with strings from its contents. Shun was feeling a bit mischievous today and maybe he could use them to play with someone later on. Shun headed out the door, he took no weapons with him.
Navigating the streets of Hikari was no easy task, especially this late in the day, especially when you're going against the traffic. Shun had to maneuver around academy kids and men returning back to their homes after a long day of work. It took quite a bit of walking but eventually the Kage arrived at his intended destination, Ichiraku's Noodle Shop. He hadn't eaten here in a while and was looking forward to it.
The shop was full as usual, which was to be expected at this time of day. So, Shun had to wait for a few minutes until one of the patrons finished their meal and left, freeing a seat at the counter. Shun ducked under the curtain as he walked in and sat down. "I'd like to try some Miso ramen today." Said Shun to the guy behind the counter, with a smile on his face.

Sasuke sat at the counter, staring down at a bowl of ramen in front of him. When he had come here a while ago, he had been hungry enough to eat. He hadn't had anything in a couple of hours, and so Ichiraku's was a fine idea. Except, when he ordered his food, he had suddenly lost his appetite. He believed it had something to do with thinking about the way Naruto ate his ramen. . . Oh well, a waste of money yes, but no big deal in any case. Perhaps he could find the blond and give it to him. Of course, that'd be "stealing" the bowl.
The person beside him got up and left, leaving their seat to be free for the taking. Sasuke was about to follow suit and get up himself, but then someone else came in, and the Uchiha recognized it to be the kage. Suddenly he felt more intrigued -- not that it was strange or anything to find the man coming here to eat, the place was rather popular. He sat silently, stirring the fast growing cold ramen idly, watching him out of the corner of his eye.
"Lord Doijakage," he mumbled in greeting to the man. It was as close to respectful as the Uchiha could, or for better use of a term 'would', become, even to his superior and leader. Sasuke wasn't exactly the respectful type, as many people who knew him had learned. Some apparently refused to believe it, but those were usually the types that he tended to avoid, for the better.
Still, if asked, he wouldn't exactly deny that he respected that Kage. The man was powerful, as should be, and that all in itself was something to be respected for. Which was exactly the case and reason that he held the man in such high regard, albeit silently, and without much caution for the uses of his words. Otherwise, he did indeed respect him and what he did.
While he hadn't been fully paying attention to what he was doing, more lost in his thoughts than anything else, he realized he had started to eat the ramen. Scowling slightly, he went back to stirring it without much cause to actually consciously eat it, still staring at the man beside out of the corner of his eyes.

Legs dangling on the floor and slurping the last strand of noodles with a slight noise, a foreigner from a different country lowered the bowl as she gulped the water in a slow manner before emitting a sigh of delight, smacking her lips on how delicious the meal is. She was told that this place makes the best ramen in this kingdom and, already, the lass knew well than to not pass the opportunity and grab herself some snacks (then again, with the money she's earning lately, she could provide herself some food without nicking some) before raising her hand to call the attention of the owner.
"Another one, please!"
She could practically hear the owner laugh a bit on how someone like her could eat so much (hint: the three bowls stacked in front of her) as the female with a distinctive red hair and amber eyes waited patiently for her next meal to be cooked. Already, she could sniff out the delectable aroma as if calling her, a chirpy grin appeared from her face at the smell before she looked around with her semi-curiosity to see if there's anything interesting for her to snoop around with.
"This place sure is nice," The red-haired female spoke with a smile towards the owner (just to keep herself entertained while waiting for her ramen), shifting her gaze to various locations around the place for no reason at all. "I don't stay on places for too long, but it's nice to eat something after doing some work." Leaning onto the counter while resting her elbows, she continued to muse around a bit before she noticed someone come in and took a brief look on who it was.
"Nya~a?"
Tilting her head a bit, the owner laughed a bit at her brief confusion as he lay down her ramen, telling her something about the person being the Kage of this place before immediately rushing to serve the higher up. Kage...? She's not unfamiliar with them but it's a rare occasion for her to meet one, so maybe staying here for a bit wouldn't be so bad.
note' Here, have a cat demon eating a ramen.

As soon as Shun had walked under the curtain, his eyes darted from one end of the counter to the other. The two of them stuck out like sore thumbs, not that he was much better anyway (being the Doujikage). Closest to him was a boy with black hair, black eyes and mostly black clothes, definitely an Uchiha. On the other end was a girl decidedly foreign, with strange hair and a strange headset, but that didn't make her any less pretty. He'd try to get her attention later. Not that Shun was a ladies man or anything but he liked to give girls like her a bit of attention, especially foreign ones so they could go back home and tell everyone about how they met the Doujikage.
The moment Shun sat down he felt intense stares from both sides, well, more intense ones from the Uchiha and more of a fleeting glance from the girl, but still... It was enough to make the Kage feel a bit awkward, it was like walking in late for a party or when you throw a surprise party and end up scaring your friend half to death. Shun still smiled but it was still enough for him to order a bottle of sake. "Whatever goes best with miso," said Shun.
"Lord Doijakage"
The Kage looked at Sasuke with a look of surprise that soon faded back into his usual smile, he rubbed the back of his neck as he spoke, "Ah, hello Mr. Uchiha. H-how are you?" Shun wasn't quite expecting the Uchiha boy to talk to him. Uchiha boys were always like this; cold, indifferent, always scowling. The men of the clan were like this too, but they seemed more proud than anything. This was starting to concern Shun, he'd have to make a surprise visit over to the Uchiha district and see how they're raising their children. He was honestly surprised that a clan like that hadn't torn itself apart yet.
Shun turned his attention to one of the employees of the ramen shop, who had brought him his sake. The man set down a cup and he was about to pour the sake into it, when Shun reached across the counter and covered the mouth of the cup with his hand. The Kage shook his head and dragged the cup over to him before taking the bottle from his hands. "Sorry, sir. Could you fetch the beautiful girl in the corner for me? I'd very much like to talk to her," asked Shun. The employee quickly went to the end of the counter to talk to Neiko.

Sasuke continued to sit there, glancing at Shun from the side. He wasn't quite sure why he was so curious. More than curious, really. It was like he expected something. But what, he wondered? They were only in a Noodle Shop, and the Kage was only here for lunch. A simple occasion that was not against the rules, so what did the Uchiha expect from him? Some kind of display of power? He shook his head at his own thoughts and looked away to stare into the bowl in front of him.
That is, until his words were replied to. Looking back at the older man, Sasuke shrugged simply. He was never a talkative person, and therefore, the simple words of "How are you" came at a loss for an answer. He supposed the appropriate answer would be "I'm good," but that was never the case. Not that he was doing bad, not at all. Just there was no room for 'good' at the moment. Still, it would be rude not to answer, and even the stoic Uchiha didn't want to come off all-that rude to the leader.
"I'm doing alright, been training is all." he mumbled in response, looking away again. He even added a, "You?" Yes, that should be good. He was actually surprised how much he had been talking recently -- not that it was anywhere near to how much most people talked. But it was still more than usual. Not a "Hn," or "Tch," as the answer to every question in the world. Though that was still a frequent response.
He scoffed aloud, however, when the Kage asked the owner to 'fetch' the girl in the corner. Shaking his head to himself, he went back to his food, allowing himself to actually eat it this time. He was here, he mind as well, and he needed something to do while the Kage flirted with 'beautiful' girls.
